Dear friends of the Palace,
In the cold winter, we like to enjoy thoughtfulness, coziness and a festive feast. In our opinion, they are even more enjoyable when things get hot and heavy beforehand!
That’s why we’re holding our Christmas Tournament with special prizes during the festive period at the end of the year! The tournament starts at 8:30 pm CET on December 23!
Participating Games
The Christmas Tournament will take place in most games of the Palace. After its opening tournament, the Gin Rummy Palace is now also taking part! The following configurations apply:
Skat | 3 players per table |
Rummy | 4 players per table |
Doppelkopf | 4 players per table |
Sheepshead | 4 players per table |
Canasta | 4 players per table |
Mau-Mau | 4 players per table |
Solitaire | 4 players per table |
Pinochle | 4 players per table |
Spider | 4 players per table |
Gin Rummy | 2 players per table |
Depending on the game, 200 to 450 players can play per group in every game. When the maximum of players is exceeded, the next group will open automatically. This way, everyone can partake for a bet of merely one Chip! Of course, you will face tenacious opponents. But if you come out on top, appreciation and exclusive prizes await you.

Your Way to Enroll
From now on, you can easily register for participation via your favorite game – or this time even in all favorite games. To do this, enter the game and follow the next steps:
On a tablet or smartphone
(except Pinochle or Gin Rummy)
1. Click Options.
2. Click Competition.
3. Click Tournaments.
4. Scroll until you see the tournament titled Christmas Tournament and click Enroll.
On a desktop PC or laptop
(any device for Pinochle or Gin Rummy)
1. Click Competition or the trophy symbol at the bottom of the lobby.
2. Click Tournaments.
3. Scroll until you see the tournament titled Christmas Tournament and click Enroll.
To participate in the tournament, you just need to be online in your game on December 23, 2024, shortly before 8:30 pm CET and enter the tournament in the competition area.
Festive Prizes
For the winners on places 1 to 3, there will be exclusive Palace of Cards certificates as PDF, numerous Premium Days, and a jackpot with up to 10,000 Chips.
Extra cheerful: We are giving away playing cards à la Palace of Cards to places 1 through 10 in collaboration with MeinSpiel.de! These Rummy or Canasta decks in French suits were designed exclusively for the Christmas Tournament 2024! If you prefer playing Skat, for example, simply remove the extra cards, and you’re good to go!
Please note that we will only be able to announce and notify the winners of the Christmas Tournament and therefore also the winners of the playing cards in the New Year.
To potentially claim your card game prize, a currently valid email address must be provided in the profile. Otherwise, we won’t be able to send out the prize notification and the card game itself.
Theoretically, several of you can occupy the same seat per game. This can happen if there are several play groups in the same tournament or if several players in a group are tied on points.
Here is an example: If 540 players are registered for Doppelkopf, the game would be played in three groups with a maximum of 200 players each. This would result in three first places, three second places and three third places.
Each group has its own jackpot. We will note in the certificate in which group you were successful. The jackpot and the Premium Days will be split between the winners of each group. As a rule, first place receives 70 % of the Chips in the pot and 90 days Premium, second place 20 % and 60 days Premium and third place 10 % and 30 days Premium.
In the case of multiple placings within a group, the distribution of prizes may change slightly. You can always see this clearly in our blog update on the winners.
We’ll See You!
It’s best to register now so you can’t forget. Then the anticipation begins. Train for the meeting of our best and show us what you’ve got!
Best wishes and good luck already!
Your Palace Team
PS: If it doesn’t work out this time, we’ll see you next year at the next opportunity! Just keep an eye on this blog.
